This Privacy Policy describes how Perspix.ai GmbH ("Perspix.ai", "we", "us") collects, processes, and discloses information related to you as a natural person ("Personal Data"), and what rights you have with respect to the processing of your Personal Data. This Privacy Policy applies when you:

We may change or substitute this Privacy Policy at any time in our sole discretion. You should check back for the most up-to-date version whenever you access any of our Services. The date at the bottom of this page indicates when the policy was last updated.
The categories of data we process depend on your interactions with us and may include one or more of the following.
When you fill in our whitepaper form, book a demo, or otherwise reach out, we may process: first and last name, email address, company name (where you provide it), and any other contact information you include in a message to us.
Data resulting from your interaction with us — for example, emails, replies, files downloaded, content of meetings or demos, expressed product interest, and registration information related to events.
When you use our website, we may automatically receive and log information such as which pages you visit, the order in which you visit them, time and date of access, and similar technical events. This data is generated by Cloudflare (our hosting provider) for security and operational purposes and is not combined with your contact data unless you have also submitted a form on our site.
When you visit perspix.ai, online and technical information from your computer or mobile device may be collected: device type, browser type and version, operating system and version, IP address (or proxy server) and the geographic region derived from it, time and date of access, duration of access, and referring URL.
In most cases, you provide the Personal Data directly to us by accessing our website or by submitting one of our forms. We do not purchase contact data from third-party brokers. We do not enrich submitted data with information from social networks or commercial databases.
We use the Personal Data we collect for the following purposes. We do not carry out any automated decision-making in the sense of Art. 22 GDPR.
To fulfil what you have asked us for — for example, emailing you the whitepaper PDF you requested, confirming a demo booking, responding to a question, or providing customer support.
If you contact us via email, our forms, or another channel, we process your Personal Data to understand and respond to your request. Your message may be forwarded internally to the team member best suited to respond.
If you have given explicit consent (the "marketing consent" checkbox on the whitepaper form, or equivalent), we may use your email address to send you occasional updates about Perspix.ai research, products, and events. Every such email contains an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out at any time by emailing hi@perspix.ai.
We do not send marketing communication to recipients who have not opted in. The whitepaper PDF email itself is a transactional message (the file you requested) and is sent independently of marketing consent.
To improve our website and content, we may analyse aggregated, anonymised, or statistical information derived from access logs. This analysis does not identify individual users.
We process Personal Data to maintain the security of our website and services, to detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity, to enforce our terms, and to comply with applicable law.
When we collect and use your Personal Data we rely on at least one of the following legal bases:
Perspix.ai uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
If we add further cookies in future (for example, optional analytics), we will request your consent through a cookie banner before any non-necessary cookie is set.
Your Personal Data may be shared with a limited number of carefully selected service providers ("processors") who process data on our instructions to deliver the Services. Current categories include hosting and infrastructure, transactional email delivery, and calendar scheduling. All processors are bound by data-processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR and have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures. A current list of named processors is available on request from hi@perspix.ai.
Where data is transferred to a recipient outside the European Economic Area (EEA) that is not subject to an adequacy decision of the European Commission, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and implement additional safeguards where required.
We may also disclose Personal Data to comply with legal obligations, for example in response to a court order or to defend ourselves against legal claims. In such an event we will use reasonable efforts to object to overbroad or inappropriate requests for information.
Your Personal Data is deleted upon request, or as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. If legal regulations (for example, fiscal or commercial law) require longer storage, or if we need the Personal Data to assert or defend against legal claims, we will retain it until the corresponding storage period expires or the matter is resolved.
Specifically: lead records and download tokens collected via the whitepaper form are retained for as long as needed to provide the file and follow up appropriately, and at most three years after the last interaction — unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Upon request we will inform you whether and which data we have stored about you. Where the legal requirements are met, you have the right to have this data corrected, blocked, or deleted. You also have the right to receive Personal Data which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another controller.
Where we process your data based on a balancing of interests, you have a right to object if the legal requirements are met.
Where we rely on consent to process your Personal Data, you may withdraw your consent at any time for the future. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before your withdrawal.

If you are resident in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the lead supervisory authority. For Perspix.ai GmbH this is the data protection authority of Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg).
